Posted by Norazo at 6:54 PM
Hello.. Part 3 is here...

We finish touring the USS at 6.00 pm.. Then we proceed to the other part of Sentosa Island where we visit the tallest Merlion in Singapore. We learn a bit of history why the symbol of Singapore is a Merlion : Lion head with fish body. Long long time ago, there was a prince called Sang Nila Utama who believe to discover Singapore. He together with his guards went for the new found island when their ships was hit by heavy waves while thunder and lighting was having a parties in the sky. A creature believe to be a dragon appear and tried to scare them away. The wise young prince throw his crown into the deep sea as a collateral to the monster . Not long after that the weather back to normal and they manage to continue their voyage safely. The prince finally reach the land when they were welcomed by a fierce looking lion. The prince however did not move a bit and he just looks straight into the lion eyes. then the bonding was created between them. From then on the prince decided to call the island as "Singapura" to honor the lion and the sea monster. That's a bit story of why the Merlion is the symbol of Singapore. After learning a bit history of Merlion, we head to play Luge and Skyride. Honestly i was so worried but once i riding the luge i was so thrilled. it was fun and the skyride was no joke. It was up to the sky high and i have to admit it was scary huhuhuhu....

That night, we were schedule to watch a musical "Song of the Sea" it was interesting and colourful. it tells a story aboout a boy name Lee whose voice can awaken the sleeping princess who had been curse by an evil spirit. While singing, he not just awaken the princess but he also help the spirit of fire and light gain their power back! The show was full of lights, animation, laser, and lot's and lots and lots of water and the man character of the show is Oscar the fish!

We head back to JB that night at 10.00 and Zue's father took us to seafood restaurant in JB. I really love the "sotong goreng tepung" yummehhhhhh.. Thank you so much to zue's father for treating us to dinner that night. TERIMA KASIH BANYAK BANYAK!

The next morning, me and Emelda went back to Putrajaya at 9.30am. It was a great experienced and i do enjoy a lot. Thank you Singapore!
